A great game fore twosomes that want to work on their game while the course is either empty or the groups in front of you are playing slow. If you are someone that usually hits a second ball after a bad shot, then you will love this!
How To Play
The structure is very simple. Each player hits two balls from every spot and then plays the best of the shots moving forward. Make sure you remember to putt twice as well. It is essentially a one man scramble with two shots.
Individual scores will usually be much lower playing ‘Two Times’.
EXAMPLE: Dan hits two drives and takes the best of the two. From this spot he hits two shots and takes the best of the two….until the ball is holed.
How To Score
On every hole Players will have one score. Use a standard Stroke or Match Play against your opponent. Handicaps can be taken into account.
How To Win
The winner is the Player with the lowest score (stroke play) or the most holes won (match play) at the end of the round.
Points can have a predetermined value (e.g. $1), or you could all wager something to throw into the ‘pot’ in which the Player with the most points wins the ‘pot’ (e.g. a new golf glove).
