Gain points three different ways on the designated holes by hitting FIR, GIR or shooting par or better. Similar to other games, but this game is only played on the last three holes of each side. This game help you focus on closing out your round on each side.
How To Play
Play out each hole as you normally would trying to shoot the lowest score possible. Triple Threat points are only available on holes 7,8,9 and 16,17,18.
How To Score
Triple Threat points can be won three different ways on the participating holes.
- 1 point for hitting a fairway in regulation
- 1 point for hitting the green in regulation
- Shooting a par or better.
If a player gets all three “Triple Threat” points on a hole, they win an additional 1 point.
How To Win
The winner is the Player with the most cumulative ‘Triple Threat’ points at the end of the round.
Points can have a predetermined value (e.g. $1 or 1 golf ball), or you could all wager something to throw into the “pot” in which the Player with the most points just wins the ‘pot’ (e.g. cold post round beverage or $5).
Unlike the game “Perfecto”, you don’t have to get all three on one hole to get the points. If you hit the FIR, but don’t hit the GIR or a score of par or better you still get 1 point.
FIR=Fairway in Regulation GIR= Green in Regulation
