A game that rewards points for having good holes, but you have to be careful not to get ‘hit by the train’ or you will lose all your cumulative points.
How To Play
Play out each hole as you normally would trying to shoot the lowest score possible
How To Score
Players score points on each hole as follows: (Note: Points can be changed based on the skill of the golfer).
- Bogey 1 point
- Par 2 points
- Birdie 3 points
- Eagle 5 points
The only catch with this game is if a Player shoots back to back double bogeys (or agreed upon score) they get ‘hit by the train’ and lose all of their accumulated points.
How To Win
The winner is the Player with the most cumulative points at the end of the rounds!
Points can be assigned a specific value (ex. $0.50) or you could just set a wager that goes to the Player with the most points.
This game can be modified if you have different skilled players in your group. If you have a low handicapper then par could be worth 1 point and a high handicapper could have bogey worth 1 point.
