Rating: 5/5 (1)

A scramble style format that makes it harder to rely on one person to hit every shot for the team.

How To Play

Each four person team plays in a Scramble format, but the golfer whose shot is chosen for each shot has to sit out, or ‘step off’, on the next shot. This rule does not apply to the golfer that makes the putt (all golfers will tee off each hole).

How To Score

The team score is based on how many shots it takes the group to get the ball in the hole.  At each spot where the group members hit, only 1 shot is counted.  You keep track of your team score like a normal stroke play tournament.

How To Win

The Team with the lowest score after the round wins!  Usually a winning score at a tournament will be around 10 under par.

More Info

If Tim’s drive is used, he must sit out on the second shot, but can hit from the third shot.

If Tim putts it in, he can still tee off on the next hole.
