Two on two game that potentially mixes up the Teams on every hole based on where each person’s drive lands.  This game is almost identical to the game “Right and Left”

How To Play

Play out each hole as you normally would trying to shoot the lowest score possible.

Four players tee off in any order.  The longest drive and the shortest drive are paired on a team and the two middle distance drives are paired on a team.  Players play out their own ball.

The teams will potentially change on each hole.

How To Score

On each hole, the Players on the Team with the combined low score each get 1 point.

How To Win

The winner is the Player with the most cumulative points at the end of the round.

Points can have a predetermined value (e.g. $2), or you could all wager something to throw into the “pot” in which the Player with the most points just wins the “pot” (e.g. a sleeve of golf balls or $5).

EXAMPLE:

Hole 1:

Angie, Greg, Bryan and Emily all tee off.  Angie and Greg’s golf balls are the furthest and shortest drives so they form a team.  That leaves Bryan and Emily’s golf balls in the middle so they form a team.

They all play out their balls and their scores on Hole 1 look like this:  Angie 5 & Greg 4.  Bryan 4 & Emily 7.  Because Angie and Greg’s combined score (9) is less than Bryan and Emily’s combined score (11), Angie and Greg both get 1 point each.

Hole 2:

Angie, Greg, Bryan and Emily all tee off.  Angie and Emily’s golf balls are the furthest and shortest so they form a team.  That leaves Bryan and Gregs’s golf balls in the middle so they form a team.

They all play out their balls and their scores on Hole 2 look like this:  Angie 3 & Emily 3.  Bryan 4 & Greg 4.  Because Angie and Emily’s combined score (3+3 = 6) is less than Bryan and Greg’s combined score (4+4 = 8), Angie and Emily both get 1 point each.

After two holes the individual scores are:  Angie = 2 Points, Greg = 1 Point, Emily = 1 Point and Bryan = 0 Points.
