This game is best fore groups of 3-4. Remember to have a deck of cards for this game or you might be out of luck. Who likes Poker?!?
How To Play
Before the round begins, each player puts an agreed amount of money into the pot. A small amount is usually perfect, $1-$5. The goal of the game is collect cards to create the best poker hand. At the beginning of the round, each player is dealt 1 card. Play out each hole as you normally would trying to shoot the lowest score possible.
How To Score
Players are dealt additional cards when they shoot par or better on a hole. If a player double bogeys a hole, the player must add an amount into the pot (this should agreed upon before the start of the round).
You could also change”par or better” to “bogey or better” based on the skill levels of your group.
How To Win
At the end of the round players compare poker hands. The best hand wins the pot!
The best part of this game is you still have a chance to win, even if you only have two cards.
You can change the scoring format to cater to your group (e.g. If you are beginners then agree that if anyone “bogeys” or better than they get dealt another card).
