Ever hit a few good shots and feel like you are the best golfer in the world? In this game test your confidence to score additional points, but risk losing them all before you can take them to the bank.
How To Play
Play out each hole as you normally would trying to shoot the lowest score possible. Players get points on each hole by shooting a bogey or better. The tough decision is, do you bring your points to the bank or ‘let them ride’ and accumulate more points. If you bring your points to the bank then they are your to keep. If you choose to ‘let it ride’ and you shoot a double bogey, you lose all your points that aren’t in the bank. Once you make a deposit at the bank you can’t start on a new run until you make a par.
How To Score
Players accumulate these points on each hole: Bogey = 5 points, Par = 15 points, Birdie = 30 points, Eagle = 50 points.
How To Win
The Player with the most cumulative points at the round wins! Points can have a predetermined value (e.g. $0.25), or you could wager something to throw into the “pot” in which the player with the most points just wins the “pot” (e.g. Dinner or $10).
Hole 1: Don shoots a bogey = 5 points.
Hole 2: Don shoots a birdie = 30 points.
Hole 3: Don shoots a bogey: 5 points. Don decides to bank his 40 points.
Hole 4: Don shoots a bogey (worth 0 points because after cashing in at the bank you must start with a par).
Hole 5: Don shoots a par worth 15 points.
Hole 6: Don shoots a double bogey that erases his 15 points back to 0.
After 6 holes, Don has 40 points in the bank and 0 points on his current streak.
