This game is meant for multiple groups of foursomes that are paired up in equal-ish skilled groups.  Players receive points based on their score and the teams try to accumulate the most amount of points.

How To Play

Play out each hole as you normally would trying to shoot the lowest score possible.  Fourball Treaty is played using the Stableford point system (click here for Stableford scoring) which means each player is awarded a certain amount of points based on their score on each hole.

How To Score

Most often, the best two scores from the group are combined for the team total each hole.  This could be changed on every hole between 1 score, all 4 scores, worst and best score etc.

If the Players on the team score; 0, 0, 1, and 2  points, the 1 and 2 points are the best two scores, so they are combined for a team score of 3 on that hole.

Stableford Scoring: Predetermine what the “fixed score” is going to be.  Fore Fun reccomends using a BOGEY as the fixed score for the average handicap golfer (10-20 handicaps).

Points are given as follows:

0 points for being two or more over the “fixed score”

1 point for being one over the “fixed score”

2 points for being at the “fixed score”

3 points for being 1 under the “fixed score”

4 points for being 2 under the “fixed score”

6 points for being 3 under the “fixed score”.

How To Win

The team with the most cumulative amount of points at the end of the round wins!
