This game rewards players for having good holes, but does not hurt them for having poor holes.
How To Play
Play out each hole as you normally would trying to shoot the lowest score possible. If you have a bad hole just forget about it and focus on the next one.
How To Score
The amount of points awarded on each hole are as follows:
Bogey = 1 point,
Par = 2 points,
Birdie = 4 points,
Eagle = 8 points.
Points can be changed based on the skill level of each golfer. For example, a group of beginners could change the scoring to:
Triple Bogey = 1 point
Double Bogey = 2 Points
Birdie =10 points.
How To Win
The winner is the Player with the most cumulative points at the end of the round!
Points can have a predetermined value (e.g. $0.50), or you could all wager something to throw into the “pot” in which the Player with the most points just wins the “pot” (e.g. Pearson’s Salted Nut Roll).
